Following three days of hearings late last month, A Maryborough judge will make a verdict on high-profile mining court case of local man Neville Perry.

Perry is fighting, state-owned Heritage Victoria for the right to look for Gold on his own 500 acre block near Dunolly.
He has previously told the media that he’s been asked to stop working on the basis of protecting the landscape of the old diggers holes.

To complicate things, the 30-year veteran prospector is also battling cancer.
The verdict will be handed down at the Maryborough Magistrates’ Court on Friday December the 16th.
