Ahead of bushfire season, a newly launched app allows Central Victorians to assess how their home is likely to perform during a bushfire.
The bushfire resilience self-rating app also provides households with a customised action plan specific to their individual property and improves the rating as tasks are completed.
Participants who’ve so far trialed the app were able to achieve an average 67% reduction in the likelihood of their home igniting in a bushfire.

Kate Cotter from the Resilient Building Council says the app is easy to use and will help protect homes and communities.
