The organisation responded to 13,705 requests for help.
“October was the biggest month on record for volunteers, and this is off the back of what is now regarded as Victoria’s wettest month on record,” chief of SES operations Tim Wiebusch said.

Looking locally, 482 requests were made in the Bendigo, 1,112 from Rochester and Echuca and more than 2,300 in the Kerang area.
