Parliament House Welcomes Local Producers as Part of Magnificent Mallee Showcase

Producers from the Greater Mallee region, which includes the Loddon, Central Goldfields and Buloke shires will have their produce showcased at Canberra’s Parliament House today

It’s part of the inaugural Magnificent Mallee Showcase. 
 
The initiative will see businesses from the most productive region in Australia show off their five-star yield to politicians and bureaucrats.

Federal member for Mallee Dr Anne Webster said it’s a great opportunity to highlight the diversity of the region.
 
“What is grown and produced in the river country in Sunraysia to the Swan Hill region in the north is
obviously different to the crops and livestock in southern end in the Grampians, Central Goldfields
and Wimmera.”

The showcase the highly-acclaimed Silo Art Trail and its economic, social and cultural benefits for local communities.
