Post Flood Mossie and Mold Warnings

Campaspe Shire Council is encouraging flood-affected residents to be vigilant against mosquito-borne diseases and mold, as recent wet weather across the region has created an ideal breeding environment for both.

The council’s Public Health team is on the ground administering mosquito treatments across the region, so far finding no cases of Ross River virus, Barmah Forest virus, or Japanese Encephalitis.

Mayor Rob Amos, is encouraging flood-affected residents to be vigilant and to do all they can to protect themselves.
