Fresh figures reveal that rental affordability across the nation is now at its lowest level in 17 years!

Low and middle-income households face the toughest conditions, with those earning under 50 thousand per year unable to afford any rental properties at currently listed prices, according to data from PropTrack.

Households earning the average Australian income of around $110,000 can afford to rent the smallest share of properties since 2008.
