One of the state’s premier grain research forums, the government-run Grains Research & Development Corporation’s research update, has gotten underway at the Ulumbarra Theatre on Tuesday morning.

A crowd of more than 300 is expected over the two days with more than 25 expert speakers set to cover a range of topics including disease management, soil nutrition, herbicides and productivity.
Keynote presentations from the two-day event can also live streamed.

Victorian grain grower and GRDC southern panel chair Andrew Russell said he’s looking forward to learning from others’ experiences.
“The past season has been a dynamic one with growers across the state affected differently,” said Mr Russell.
