Voters in the state electorate of Ripon, which covers towns such as Maryborough, Wedderburn, Dunnoly and St Arnaud, are being encouraged to get down to a candidates forum this morning.

Held at the Maryborough Golf Course from 11am, it will be an opportunity for the public to put questions to their prospective representatives.
The forum will be chaired by Maryborough-born ABC journalist Bridget Rollason.
