Securing Australian supply chains will support manufacturers to reach net zero by 2050 and that’s exactly what the Federal Government’s Future Made in Australia Act intends to do!

The act will help local manufacturers, such as Bendigo’s Hofmann Engineering, meet the 2050 target by keeping import/export costs to a minimum and cleaning up the production, restoration and other processes.

General Manager, David Hubbert, says the restoration side of the company needs the support of local supply chains to keep machinery and the products they deliver in working order.

Hubbert reminisces on a recent win for Hoffman which proves that keeping supply chains within Australia ensures quality also.

Hubbert says thanks to their restoration and repair works they continue to keep work stable despite waving demand.

Local Federal MP, Lisa Chesters, announced the act at Hofmann Engineering’s Bendigo facility last week, highlighting the need for quality products made in Australia.
