Spirit’s depth is being widely praised by WNBL pundits, with many considering them the front runner for the premiership.

In the same match, Sydney Uni Flames head coach and former Boomer Shane Heal was kick out of Red Energy Arena last night after receiving two technical fouls.

The incident comes less than a week after Heal said New Zealand breakers coach Barry Brown should have received a heavier penalty for calling the referee a cheat.
