Elite young footballers in Central Victoria will be waiting with bated breaths ahead of tonight’s AFL national draft.

Bendigo Pioneers head coach Danny O’Bree told Gold that the three top prospects are Harvey Gallagher, Jason Gillbee and Noah Long, but he’s not sure where they’ll place.
“Anywhere from second round onwards,” he said.

He added that he’s hopeful Charlie Barnett and Michael Kiraly “a little bit later” in the selection, or in the rookie draft.
