The 30th year of Maryborough’s Energy Breakthrough is kicking off on Wednesday morning.

Students, teachers and parents will design and construct innovative vehicles that symbolise an ‘energy breakthrough’.
Chair of the Energy Breakthrough committee and local Central Goldfields Shire councillor Liesbeth Long said they’re expecting 20,000 people in town.
“500 students from over 110 schools around Victoria,” she said.

“It’s probably one of the biggest events that Maryborough runs,”.
