A hit-and-run in Long Gully last night has left two men in hospital.
An argument began between the 51-year-old victim and the accused driver late last night before he was hit by the car at about 9.45 pm. The 51-year-old man has sustained life-threatening injuries.
Another man then came to assist and was allegedly assaulted by the group people in the car, suffering serious injuries as a result.

The group in the car then fled the scene and both men were taken to Bendigo Hospital.
Local Police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
