Central Victoria has experienced its driest February since the 2009 Drought, with just 2.6mm of rain across the month.
Rainfall was much lower than the median figure of 17.5mm with most of that rain falling during a 24-hour blitz on Valentines Day, which accounted for 90% of the month’s total.
