Central Goldfields Shire manager of statutory services Amy Boyd said the Daisy Hill incident had not been reported to council.
“Council officers are making enquiries within the local community to obtain details on the matter,” she said.
“Attacks after hours and on weekends can still be reported via the after hours service on 0407 508 448. Council officers will respond as a matter of priority and action can include containment of the animal, seizing the animal involved and interviewing of witnesses.”
