The Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit have reported a number of COVID outbreaks impacting local residential aged care facilities.
With cases rising across the state, the unit is encouraging aged care providers to review their vaccination programs and make sure their outbreak management plans are up to date.
A new Pfizer COVID booster has recently been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration and will be available in the national COVID vaccine program from December 9th.
