Every taxpayer in Bendigo is set to get more back this tax time – including minimum wage workers, single-parent households, and those struggling with the cost of living.
The almost 66,000 tax-paying residents of Greater Bendigo, should receive around the expected average tax cut – which will be around $1,424 – from July 1.
Bendigo’s Federal MP, Lisa Chesters says the new tax cuts are designed to provide cost-of-living relief.
MP Chesters says the majority of residents will receive a bigger tax cut than they did five years ago under the previous Government.
Among them is hospitality worker Kjell….
MP Chesters says the Federal Government is “delivering more help for working families and more help for locals, putting cash back into people’s pockets when they need it most.”
She says the “tax cuts are about ensuring more workers in Central Victoria can keep more of what
they earn because we know that will take pressure off people doing it tough.”
