Victoria’s Commonwealth Legacy – Just an Election Stunt?

A Federal MP is blasting Premier Jacinta Allan after a report found the abandoned Commonwealth Games cost the state nearly $600 million.

Released yesterday, the total loss was over $589 million with the expected cost of $6.9 billion to host the Games in regions, like Bendigo, overstated.

Leader of Nationals, David Littleproud says he believes the games were no more than an election stunt.

Leader of the Nationals David Littleproud says Premier Allan, as then-Minister for Commonwealth Games Delivery, needs to be held responsible.
